The building was once a Reading Institute. It has a house attached with a short term lease. A truly all-age congregation with a renewed sense of purpose following the arrival of 6 six new members in 20??. The opportunity to welcome new and very committed people has been a great affirmation of the efforts of those who have worked so hard to maintain and improve the building and the worshipping presence. A fellowship group meets fortnightly. Currently, plans to improve toilet and kitchen facilities are being explored. Property update they now have a disabled toilet facilities and a widened drive. The GP holds a weekly surgery in the vestry. The building is not in the centre of the village, but housing development is now planned on an adjacent piece of land. It is the only Methodist church remaining in a 7 mile radius, which takes in a number of small communities and farms.
