The Light Belongs to Everyone Annual Service Of Commemoration For Homeless People Who Have Died In The Past Year
Thursday 6 November 2008, 12 noon, St. Martin in the Fields, Trafalgar Square, London

Slavery is rife throughout the world - two children per minute are being sold. Hope for Justice campaigns against human trafficking and slavery. The Stand event helps to equip the church to take a stand against human trafficking and slavery. The programme includes an exciting line-up of bands, speakers, corporate worship and prayer. Migrant workers now make up a significant proportion of the UK workforce but remain one of the most vulnerable, and often abused, groups of workers. Climate Change Service 2008

Christian Ecology Link is organising a Service of Worship on climate change. The Service, led by Rev Paul Trathen, will be a time of reflection and prayer for the world before going out in mission. Mark Dowd, campaigns strategist for Operation Noah, will speak. The doors of the church will be open from 10am and coffee served from 10.30am.
